You can't change the wind, but you can adjust your sails
A basic definition of job satisfaction is a feeling of fulfillment or enjoyment that a person derives from their job.
Last week marked my 17-year anniversary with SI&A. My biggest professional challenge this year has been fostering connection in absence of our typical in-person networking events, PD workshops and conferences. How we handle a challenge is what defines us. I have always liked Jimmy Dean's strategy for handling challenges, "I can't change the direction of the wind, but I can adjust my sails to always reach my destination.”

Listen as he shared how WCCUSD educators had to pivot in the DL environment to make a direct connection with their families.
