SI&A Workshop at the PSC Summer Learning Institute
June 13-15, 2022, Morro Bay, CA

SI&A will be presenting at the PSC Summer Learning Institute in Morro Bay, CA. This three day, in-person professional learning event is focused on supporting educators in a post Covid-19 environment, “DOING THE RIGHT WORK!” We are proud to be presenting alongside our partner, statewide Model School Attendance Review Board award winner, Sanger Unified School District. Their motto of “Every Child, Every Day, Whatever it Takes” embodies why Sanger continues to be recognized as a turnaround district and sought out for their leadership.
Check out our workshop, “Model SARB Programs” on Wednesday, June 14 at 2:30 pm. In it we will discuss chronic absenteeism as a cornerstone of the state accountability model. This session will cover the effective strategies that Sanger Unified has implemented and earned them recognition as a Model SARB program. You will learn what strategies are successful from a Tier 1 to Tier 3 perspective using an attendance management system (AMS).
