SI&A Presenting at ACSA Every Child Counts Symposium

Hopefully, you have made your way to the amazing JW Marriott in Palm Desert for the sold-out ACSA Every Child Counts Symposium this week. The Every Child Counts Symposium is designed for both beginning and veteran educational leaders and focuses on the latest in the field of student services and special education.

SI&A in collaboration with the team from Sanger Unified SD will be hosting a workshop: Restorative Restart: Addressing Attendance Habits in a Post-Pandemic World on Friday at 10AM. If you haven’t downloaded the conference app, here’s what we’ll be talking about, “As students and staff return to school this session will explore the necessary strategies to reinforce student, and parent, habits on daily attendance. Real-world examples and options from Sanger Unified School District, designated by the California Department of Education as a Model SARB program, to bring students back into the school culture after two and half years of disrupted program offerings.”

This can’t miss learning session will be led by Sanger USD’s Director of Child Welfare and Attendance, Mr. Johnny Gonzalez, and SI&A Regional Manager, Erik Elorriaga. In addition, we’ll have a table in the main ballroom to chat about ways that we can increase student attendance and improve outcomes specifically at your LEA. Not attending ECC? You can always reach out at AskErica@sia-us.com.
