This interactive training course utilizes Kouzes and Posner’s Five Practices of Exemplary Leadership model as a framework for district administrators to accelerate student achievement. Participants will walk away with an understanding of:
- The differences between a manager and a leader
- How to operationalize the 5 principles leadership in school operations (taught through a real-world example)
- Why leaders succeed in building high-performing teams but managers often fail
To further cement the learning objectives, attendees will receive a copy of The Leadership Challenge Workbook to take back to their LEAs and implement these practices.
