Account Manager Opening
SI&A is currently looking for someone to fill an Account Manager Position (that we call a Program Advisor II) for our El Dorado Hills (Headquarters) Office (although we are currently working remotely).
For over 16 years, we’ve been the premier full-service compliance company partnering with hundreds of districts and thousands of schools; supporting their staff, programs, and bottom line with our award winning software and service solutions.
Our Program Advisor team leverages their expertise in compliance and comparative data analysis to grow our Good Governance business and increase the number of clients using multiple SI&A products.
We’re looking for a collaborative, analytical, problem solver with both customer relationship and sales experience to join this team and maintain a client territory while selling to and working directly with school district and school site personnel.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Independently schedule appointments with clients
Analyze data and make reasonable recommendations regarding compliance and future needs of the district
When in the office, collaborate with SI&A staff and clients regarding improvement of administrative functions of a school site
Collect data in order to compile claims for school districts
Travel to meet with clients and provide training/advising to district staff and site staff as their SI&A representative
Grow and maintain your client territory through upsells and client needs
Negotiate contracts and renewal contracts with clients
Conduct meetings and client interviews with several districts in person, over the phone, and through online web meetings
Develop and maintain business relationships
Perform all other duties as assigned
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university OR equivalent work experience
Willingness to travel as needed with some overnight during peak times (Primarily Fall and Spring, all travel within California)
Ability to work independently as well as a collaborative team member within company departments
3+ years previous background in consulting, sales, customer service, or account management
Must be able to work with minimal supervision and be able to prioritize multiple tasks under pressure of deadline and budget
Polished and professional speaking and presenting skills for a wide variety of audiences
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Willingness to adapt to changes necessary for a high-growth leading-edge company
Solid working knowledge of the Microsoft
