Final 2007-08 Budget Passes

As you know, earlier this week, the California Legislature passed a budget bill to the Governor. The budget, stalled in the Senate for weeks, passed with 27 votes, the minimum number required for passage. The education budget trailer bills contained the same provisions that were passed by the Assembly in July, meaning there were no tweaks to the education portion of the budget.
