Special Education Review

SI&A's Special Education Review determines ways to reallocate existing special education resources while maintaining program integrity.

Reallocate Costs and Improve Program Effectiveness
The SI&A Special Education Review team, led by Bonnie Russell-Hunt, a former special education administrator, assists your district to provide a quality special education program without extra burdens on general funds.

Our objective is to identify service delivery options that may be expanded or modified to realize savings-results that can be reinvested to enhance program effectiveness.

We work directly with your special education personnel to:

  • Gather documentation on your special education programs
  • Conduct a thorough operations analysis
  • Provide results and recommendations aligned with your district's core values
  • Present a comprehensive report which covers both fiscal and policy perspectives
