Clovis USD School Business Official Bill McGuire to Join Top Education Consulting Firm
School Innovations & Advocacy (SI&A), a company specializing in legislative advocacy, categorical support, attendance accounting programs, mandate reimbursement and a host of other solutions for school districts, county offices of education and individual schools, has announced that highly-respected California school business official, Bill McGuire, will join SI&A as vice president of Professional & Fiscal Services. McGuire is currently the associate superintendent, administrative services, for the Clovis Unified School District and will complete the 2007-08 school year. He also serves as president of California Association of School Business Officials (CASBO). The move is slated for July 2008. In announcing the merger, SI&A chief executive officer, Jeff Williams said, "It was an easy decision for our company to ask Bill McGuire to join us in our mission to offer great solutions to California schools. He knows school business operations and is respected in the education arena." Bill McGuire, a school business official for nearly twenty five years, said this of the announcement, "SI&A has a reputation for extraordinary leadership and a meticulous attention to detail. I am excited to bring my experience and dedication to education to SI&A. I am looking forward to the numerous ways we will serve California schools." McGuire has experience working in a county office, unified and elementary school districts of various sizes, as well as currently working for the 20th largest school district in California.
