CONTEST RULES

• Competition is open to all students enrolled in public California K-12 schools. This contest is not open to children of SI&A employees. No purchase is necessary.
• Students may submit up to two (2) entries. Entries must be an original concept and must not infringe upon the rights of other artists or violate any applicable copyright laws. We want to see YOUR original artwork and ideas!
• Judges will select four finalists in each age division (K-3, 4-8, 9-12) based upon the Visual Arts Content Standards for California Public Schools, which can be accessed at CDE Visual Arts Standards.
• Finalist Voting at www.sia-us.com/artcontest: One vote per person, per age division, will be counted.
• Artwork, along with properly completed entry forms and artist's statement, must be received by May 2, 2008.
• SI&A reserves the right to reproduce or use image(s) in its Annual Calendar, marketing materials and website at www.sia-us.com.
• SI&A will not be responsible for any loss or damage to the artwork while in transit to SI&A.
• If you would like artwork returned after judging you MUST provide a self-addressed stamped envelope (SASE) with entry. Teachers, you may include a single SASE for returns if submitting as a class. Please be sure to include correct postage, as SI&A will not be responsible for returns that require additional postage.
